A matt embossed ID card adds a second finishing technique on top of our standard matte lamination. The matte lamination we use on every card gives a soft, non-reflective surface that resists fingerprints and unwanted light reflections — a quality that photographs and films particularly well and that many executives associate with restraint and high-end production values. The embossing step mechanically raises selected elements — a name, employee ID, logo, or border pattern — so they are physically higher than the surrounding surface, creating a tactile quality that sets these cards apart from any flat print.
Matt embossed cards are used most often by law firms, chartered accountancy practices, financial institutions, luxury hotels, and C-suite teams who issue identity credentials to senior personnel. They are also popular for premium membership cards, VIP event passes, and executive business cards in contexts where the identity document itself is expected to reflect the quality of the brand it represents. The card dimensions and PVC composition are identical to standard ID cards — they work in the same card holders and lanyards.
Pricing starts at ₹60 per card (1–10), dropping through 6 tiers to ₹15.50/card at 1001–5000. The matte lamination and embossing process takes slightly longer than standard printing — our team advises on exact timelines after reviewing your design requirements.
