An RFID card is a standard PVC identity card with an embedded 13.56 MHz RFID chip (MIFARE Classic) inside. From the outside, it looks and feels exactly like a regular PVC ID card — your logo, employee photo, name, and designation are printed in full colour on the front. The chip is invisible and silent until it comes within range of a compatible reader, at which point it transmits a unique identifier without any physical contact. This enables tap-to-open doors, automatic attendance logging, and cashless canteen transactions without additional hardware beyond your existing RFID readers.
MIFARE Classic at 13.56 MHz is the most widely deployed contactless standard in India. Readers from ZKTeco, Hikvision, HID Global, eSSL, and most other brands commonly installed in Indian offices, factories, and schools are compatible out of the box. If you have an existing access control or attendance system, these cards will work as direct replacements for your current proximity cards — while also functioning as fully printed identity documents. RFID cards from PrintedCards are priced across 6 tiers: ₹60/card (1–10), ₹50 (11–50), ₹42 (51–100), ₹35 (101–500), ₹25 (501–1000), and ₹18/card (1001–5000) — the chip is included, with no separate hardware surcharge. Cards arrive blank (unprogrammed) unless you specify otherwise — your access control system handles programming during enrolment, as it would with any replacement proximity card.
